Brandon Caplan

Biography

Brandon’s work focuses on complex business transactions involving quickly changing regulatory regimes. Originally from Portland, Brandon left to serve as a Signals Intelligence Analyst in the U.S. Army Reserves. Wishing to continue working on matters affecting national security and international economic policy, Brandon joined an international law firm based in Washington, D.C. While in D.C., Brandon advised some of the world’s largest technology companies on various regulations applicable to international business transactions, global supply chain management, and cross-border research and development. In addition, he engaged with government agencies to amicably resolve issues relating to prior noncompliance. After returning home to Portland, Brandon was excited to join Sapient Law, where he could continue collaborating with colleagues to find cross-disciplinary solutions to business problems. He looks forward to working with the many innovative companies putting Oregon on the map.
